I'm just old enough to remember when these sketches aired the first time. My parents always thought I was to young to watch SNL so I always had to sneak in show when they weren't paying attention. That Carvey, Hartman, and Dennis Miller cast was great, but I maybe looking back with rose colored glasses since it was forbidden fruit at the time.

Forbidden fruit you say?
Too young, you say?
When I was younger, I was more into MAD TV, but SNL was good (and it still is).

This is the sketch in particular that freaked them out.
The whole sketch is here. http://screen.yahoo.com/il-cantore-res…
Strangely enough I could always get away with MAD TV.
